South Durham Church is a local, nondenominational, evangelical church in Durham, NC. We are proud to serve the Durham community. Durham is a great place to live and work. There is so much to do in Durham, plus it is located in the Research Triangle of NC.
Durham County, of which is where Durham is located, is the sixth largest county in North Carolina. The city of Durham has a population of 276,341 as of the 2020 census. An outflow of a railway depot that was established in 1849 that was built on land donated by Bartlett S. Durham. The tobacco industry is largely credited with the growth of the town that was incorporated in 1869. Besides the many things to do in Durham, it is also home to two higher education institutions, Duke University and North Carolina Central University.
